Registered Dietitian

Do you feel stressed out about your eating? Have a love-hate relationship with food or feel like food controls you? I get it.

Today, there is an overwhelming amount of nutrition information on the internet and on social media. I understand how all of this information can be confusing and potentially dangerous. You don’t have to figure out this food stuff on your own.

I love working with individuals, families and couples to help set personalized and realistic nutrition goals. I help guide you when you’re starting out on a new path to wellness and want a balanced lifestyle. I offer a non-judgmental environment that supports you in talking about your relationship with food and your body. I also offer current, evidence-based nutrition information, and tailor each session according to your unique needs.

As a Registered Dietitian, I am passionate about helping people develop a healthy relationship with food and exercise by using a non-diet, health-at-every-size approach. Food does not have to be the enemy! When working with me, people feel more knowledgeable and more confident, and experience freedom around food.

Professional Background: I have more than 10 years of experience supporting children and adults through nutrition counseling. Over the years, I’ve worked in hospital settings and outpatient practices. People I work with come from various social and economic backgrounds with various disease states. Through my experience, I’ve become a Certified Eating Disorders Registered Dietitian. I received a Master of Arts Degree in Nutrition from Immaculata University, and I’m a Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist in the state of North Carolina.

Personally: I am a busy mom of two precious girls, and have a husband who keeps us laughing. I became interested in nutrition and food when I was playing Division One soccer in college. I still kick the ball around a little with the girls and help coach their teams. I enjoy cooking, but also love a good local restaurant!
