Hey there! I’m Britta, and I am a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. I received my Chinese Medicine education Daoist Traditions in Asheville, NC where I also completed a two-year clinical internship. I have training in both Classical and Traditional Chinese Medicine, Chinese Dietary Therapy, western and eastern herbal medicine, Chinese medical massage and Qi Gong which allows for a well-rounded approach in practice. While earning my Doctoral Degree I received special training in Cardiology, Neurology, Endocrinology, Gynecology, Obstetrics, Pediatrics and Orthopedics. While I enjoy working with all types of cases, I do have a special interest in psycho-emotional conditions, pain management, women’s health.

What I love most about practicing acupuncture is being a witness to healing. My approach as a practitioner is that it’s my job is to offer guidance and support. I will walk to the threshold of healing with you and cheer you on while you step through the door! I use needles and various modalities as an invitation for you to come back into resonance with your best state of health. True healing occurs on all levels of our being, body mind and soul, which is why I am so excited to be part of a team at Sun Counseling & Wellness.

When I’m not practicing acupuncture, I can be found at my home in Asheville with my 14-year-old Mastiff/German Shepard mix, Timber. We both enjoy meandering walks through the beautiful mountain scape, the local farmer’s markets, and eclectic vibes! I also love wild food foraging and making plant medicine. It’s an honor to be working with you all and please never hesitate to reach out with any questions or just to talk Chinese Medicine!

Let's Walk Through it Together.
